Sean Smith
Sean was the Coppell High School catcher in 1994, 95 and 96. A move-in from Duncanville, Sean is rated
among the Cowboys all-time best -- All-State catcher each of his three years and a member of
Coppell's 1995 4A State Championship team. After his senior year, Sean caught for Sam
Carpenter's Dallas Mustang team which won the 1996 AABC 18-under national championship.
Sean started his college career at Baylor as a 1997 redshirt. In 1998 he played for the Navarro JUCO team that year-in, year-out produces top notch college and pro prospects. Unfortunately, a rotator cuff injury kept Sean out of baseball in 1999 and 2000. Sean hit the comeback trail this past season and won the starting catcher position on the University of Oklahoma Sooners. Click here
